The President shall appoint a nominating committee consisting of three active members, one of whom shall be the past president of the Association. The immediate past president shall serve as the committee chair.
- Prepare a list of proposed nominees for IAWEA offices for the board meeting in March of each year
- Send a letter of nomination to each prospective nominee, detailing the duties and responsibilities of the office and requiring nominee’s signature of willingness to accept the nomination (Appendix 1).
- Make a “call for officers” in the fall newsletter
Executive Committee liaison shall be the immediate Past President
Any IAWEA member may make additional nominations at the Business Meeting held at the Annual Conference.
